Brittany Legacy

Yoga Coach

Yoga Alliance Certified: Yoga Instructor & RYS Student. Her passion for creative/martial arts has grown into the yoga practices Encompassing Movement facilitates.

I hope you notice how you feel the shift of perception when you begin and how you feel lighter when you leave. My name is Brittany Legacy, Owner & Operator of Encompassing Movement. I began a spiritual practice at a time that I truly believe was the beginning of an incredible connection at the age of 4 at uechi-ryu karate academy prior to the passing of Victor Swiminer our teacher, well known Sense. In addition to Victor Swiminer, I trained with Master Jim Maloney. My passion for martial arts lead to many injuries. Approaching my senior year of high school I began the practice yoga, as a form of rehabilitation for my body. After high school I graduated from Tourism Business Management, became a mother of four (who you will recognize as Plan A dancers Robyn, Dana and Marley!), and continued with both martial arts and yoga while working in the corporate world. In 2019 I became a registered certified yoga instructor after lots of training; it was truly an incredible experience . My passion for creative/martial arts has grown into the yoga practices Encompassing Movement facilitates. I look forward to working with many dancers and supporting their goals. Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. Love, Brittany.
